Located near the Costa Rican border, the highest volcano in Panama is Volcan Baru. This is home to the Boquete valley where this coffee is grown. It is located in the Horqueta region and offers Typica and Catuai varietals. Most of the trees were originally planted by the first owners. The estate has its own wellspring that runs throughout the area. The location offers breathtaking views of the Barú Volcano.
Tasting notes: This incredibly well-balanced coffee has notes of citrus and hazelnut with a slight brown sugar sweetness. It has a slightly lighter body and cleaner finish as well so perfect to ease you into the day.
