Coffees flavour can be dramatically changed in the way it is roasted. Applying a lot or little heat to the coffee at different times in the roast will create a vast difference in how the coffee tastes. Levels of roast profile from light to dark will similarly have a drastic difference in flavour. Lighter roasts tend to bring out brighter and more delicate fruity and floral flavours. Medium roasts will generally taste a lot smoother with a milder body and dark roasts tend to be stronger, richer and more powerful in flavour.
