Cooperativa Agraria Ecoforest has a certified quality production which means all the families that contribute to their regional blends obtain Organic and Fairtrade certifications. Ecoforest has grown slowly from 32 to 402 members in the last 10 years and plans to keep growth levels as sustainable as their organic coffees.

Background
The San Juan Cooperative was created in 1974 with 25 members. Over the years they have focussed on gaining certifications in many markets including Organic and Fairtrade certificates. The Coop is currently presided by Victor Kalla who learned to pick coffee from his parents at a young age.
